I'm thrilled to introduce this whimsical, handmade mug featuring a sunny scene with tulips a tree and a smiling sunshine! Crafted from stoneware clay, this mug has been a very successful experimentation of glazing techniques —combining underglazes with sgraffito and then wax resist to enable the colours to be exposed alongside the matt blue speckle glaze.
This mug is slightly shorter and wider, measuring 7cm tall with a diameter of 10 cm, making it perfect for enjoying a cozy drink. As with all my handmade pieces, I recommend hand washing to keep it looking beautiful for years to come.
